GENERAL AIMS
A series of lessons serving as the first of four terms intended to give a chronological overview of God's dealings with a chosen people leading up to Christ. The lessons focus on God's relationship with Israel as a whole as well as with selected individuals, and his ongoing plan of salvation looking ahead to the time of Jesus. By looking at people who God counted as his friends, children should come to an understanding that God wants to be friends with them, too. This is the third of four terms in the Old Testament survey.
